PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit building increasing the degree of freedom in design such as the size and quantity of storage batteries while making effective use of a space in the building. SOLUTION: A space 14 provided between adjacent building units 12, 12 is used as a storage battery storage chamber, and the storage battery 16 is stored in the storage battery storage chamber 14. The space in the unit building 10 can thereby be effectively used, and a living space need not be sacrificed. The space 14 provided between the building units 12, 12 is used as the storage battery storage chamber, and the storage battery 16 is stored therein. The degree of freedom in design such as the size and quantity of the storage batteries 16 can thereby be increased in comparison with the case of storing the storage battery 16 between floor girders 26, 26 facing in one building unit 12, for instance.
