<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device that allows accurate determination of the travelable distance of an electric vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The navigation device includes a search means mountable on an electric vehicle traveling, by using electric power supplied from a battery to search for a guidance route to a destination; a traveling time calculation means for calculating traveling time, when traveling the guidance route; an electric power consumption estimating means for estimating electric power consumption by head lights, based on the traveling time; a travelable distance calculation means for calculating a travelable distance on the guidance route from the estimated power consumption and residual charge in the battery; and a presenting means for presenting calculated travelable distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
