APPARATUS FOR DISCRIMINATING OPTICAL RECEIVER THRESHOLD USING ATTENUATOR

PURPOSE: A critical value discriminating apparatus of an optical receiver using an attenuater for reducing the current consumption of the optical receiver are provided to discriminate the critical value of a comparator without an automatic critical value controller. CONSTITUTION: A critical value generating unit(100) comprises an attenuater. The attenuater receives the output signal of a pre-amplification terminal. The attenuater attenuates the size of the output signal. A comparison unit compares the output signal and critical value of the pre-amplification terminal. The comparison unit outputs the signal of a digital level. An output buffer(400) reduces rising and falling time of the signal outputted from the comparison unit.
