PURPOSE: A poly[aniline-2-(alkyleneglycol)aniline]copolymer and a preparation method thereof are provided to enable application to a coating material for preventing electrification and shielding electromagnetic waves for plastics, paints, electrode materials, semiconductor parts, and electrical devices. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a poly[aniline-2-(alkyleneglycol)aniline]copolymer comprises a step for mixing a first solution with a second solution. The first solution is prepared by dissolving an aniline-based monomer and a 2-(alkyleneglycol)aniline monomer of chemical formula 1 in an acid solution. The second solution is prepared by dissolving an oxidant in an acid solution.
