PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a solid electrolytic capacitor, with a solid electrolyte of a conductive macromolecule formed in a foil-wound type capacitor element as a surface-mountable chip component that has a short overall axial length, is low in height, and moreover has increased capacitance per unit volume.SOLUTION: After a capacitor element 10 is stored in an outer clad case 20A, made of a heat-resistant synthetic resin with terminal storage groves 21, 22 formed at two places of the opposing parts of the end edges of an opening in a bottomed cylindrical body, while respective lead terminals 15b, 16b are pulled out to the outside of the case; a curing resin 31 is filled inside the case 20A for curing and fixing the capacitor element 10; and tip-end sides of the respective lead terminals 15b, 16b are bent, in mutually separating directions for storage inside the respective terminal storage grooves 21, 22. |
