PURPOSE: An elastic yarn containing poly lactic acid(PLA) fiber and a fabric having the same are provided to ensure environmentally-friendly benefit and excellent elasticity. CONSTITUTION: An elastic yarn containing PLA fiber contains 40-100 weight% of PLA fiber only. The elasticity and expansion rate measured by KS K 0508 method are more than 15% and more than 25%, respectively. An elastic functional yarn contains 40-99.9 weight% of PLA fiber and 0.1-60 weight% of natural fiber, biodegradable fiber or blended fiber thereof. The elastic yarn is filament or spun yarn. |
