PURPOSE: A side mirror device for a vehicle using a video camera is provided to secure the rear view of a driver by enabling the driver to observe left, right, and rear sides using display devices. CONSTITUTION: A side mirror device for a vehicle using a video camera comprises video cameras(11,12) and display devices(21,22). The video cameras are installed on both side surfaces of a vehicle toward a rear side. The display devices are electrically connected to the video cameras and are installed inside the vehicle. Grooves are formed in the vehicle so that the video cameras cannot be protruded from the side surfaces of the vehicle.
