PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly rigid engagement chain unit which improves chain durability by reliably suppressing the inclination or buckling of a pair of engagement chains for linear operation without requiring installation of an auxiliary guide means for suppressing the buckling or inclination, and achieves stable an advancing/retreating movement of an object to be driven by reliably retaining the chain engaging attitude in a straight line.SOLUTION: The engagement chain unit 100 includes a pair of the engagement chains 110 for the linear operation engaged with each other by a pair of main sprockets A and integrated rigidly, and disengaged from each other and flexibly branching off while deflecting from a chain engaging direction to a chain branching direction, and an engagement chain 120 for suppressing buckling approximated from the side and engaged relative to the engagement chains 110 by an auxiliary sprocket B, and disengaged and branching off from the engagement chains 110. |
