PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new laundry pole support which can support a laundry pole in a room by using a curtain rail and does not disturb the opening and closing of curtains even when the laundry is hung out and by which the heavy laundry can be also hung out. SOLUTION: The laundry pole support is provided with an abutment part 11 which is abutted on an architectural construction 3 such as a window frame, a post or a wall near a window, a body 10 which is protruded from the abutment part 11 and have an arm 12 on the end of which a laundry pole 4 is placed, and a fitting 20 to be attached to the curtain rail 1 for hanging the body 10 on the curtain rail 1 and also to be attached to the arm 12 so that the attaching position can be adjusted.
