PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the reliability strengthening of a multiple core processor. SOLUTION: One embodiment includes a method for specifying an available core in the multiple core processor, allocating a core of a first subset to an enable state, allocating a core of a second subset to a standby state, and storing information about the allocations in a storage.
