PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a communication method appropriately distributing a program. SOLUTION: A first user system 11 includes: a sensor information collection means 111 for collecting object sensor information including an object sensor type of a reacting object sensor and attribute information of the object sensor; and a transmission information generation means 113 for generating transmission information from the object sensor information. A second user system 21 includes: an information transmission/reception means 211 for receiving the transmission information from the first user system 11, and for downloading the program from a center server; a transmission information division means 214 for extracting the object sensor type included in the object sensor information from the transmission information, and for acquiring the object program from the center server 3 when there is no program corresponding to an owned display device type and the object sensor information; a transmission information conversion means 216 for converting the transmission information to display information by the use of the object program; and a display information transmission means 217 for transmitting the display information to the display device.
