PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new composition for the purpose of the treatment and prophylaxis of cardiovascular diseases such as transmethylation diseases, preferably atherogenic diseases and thrombogenic diseases. SOLUTION: The composition contains one or more kinds of active components and optionally one or more kinds of nutritious substances, and a shaping agent or auxiliary of solid, liquid and/or semi-liquid, wherein this composition is such that the above active component comprises (a), component A of one or more kinds of compounds selected from methyl- and methylene-donors, (b), component B of one or more kinds of methyl transporters, and (c), component C of one or more kinds of bioflavonoids; this composition is well suitable for the treatment and prophylaxis of such cardiovascular diseases as transmethylation diseases, preferably as atherogenic diseases, and thrombogenic diseases.
