<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb filter capable of exhibiting a high PM (particulate matter) capturing effect and a high NOx removal rate even when regenerated repeatedly. <P>SOLUTION: The honeycomb filter includes a honeycomb-structured body, which is constituted so that a large number of cells are parted from one another by cell walls and arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the honeycomb-structured body and each of the large number of cells is sealed at one end thereof, and zeolite deposited on the cell wall of the honeycomb-structured body. The honeycomb-structured body includes silicon carbide and has 55-65% porosity. The amount of the zeolite deposited on the cell wall is 80-150 g/L and the thermal conductivity of the zeolite-deposited cell wall is ≥3 W/mK. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
