PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt fastening device including a mechanism for preventing a broken pin tail from dropping. SOLUTION: A bolt fastening machine 11 for fastening a nut 17 on a torque shear type bolt 16 including a pin tail 19 to be broken at the tip includes at least an outer socket 12 to engage with the nut 17 and an inner socket 13 to engage with the pin tail 19. It has a push-out rod 22 for pushing out the pin tail 19 which is broken and left from the inner socket 13 and a push-in lever 23 connected with a base of the push-out rod 22.
