PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side-view mirror effective in reducing manufacturing costs by preventing an increase in the number of parts and reducing mold manufacturing costs; and a method of manufacturing the side-view mirror. SOLUTION: A manual storage bracket 6 is one in which a base section 7 for attaching a mirror housing and a unit mounting section 8 for mounting a manual storage unit 10 are integrated with each other. The unit mounting section 8 includes a box-like housing 91 having an opening 91a formed on one end side in the axial direction of a shaft 19.
