PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately and quickly suppress the occurrence of undershoot, overshoot and rising/falling delays due to the fluctuation of driving voltage generated according to the number of nozzle holes for simultaneous ejection from a recording head. SOLUTION: An image data counting circuit 26b to which image data signals are input, sets one count when the image data signal is an "ink drop ejection" pattern, and inputs the count number to a driving waveform control part 26c when counting of one nozzle hole array 10Y part is completed. A driving waveform control part 26 corrects the timing time of the driving waveform voltage applied to actuators 10Y1-10YN referring to a timing correction table 26d according to the number of nozzle holes (the actuators 10Y1-10YN) ejecting ink drops simultaneously out of one nozzle hole array 10Y counted by the image data counting circuit 26b.
