PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding nozzle apparatus capable of quickly exchanging a sliding nozzle. SOLUTION: The sliding nozzle apparatus includes: a base plate 2 that is abutted on a bottom of a molten metal container in the upper face and that is equipped with a through-hole 2a communicating with a molten metal flow-out hole; at least two sliding nozzles 3, 4 whose upper part is slidably engaged with the lower face of the base plate 2; a first slide means 5 that slides the sliding nozzle 3 to a position where the nozzle hole 3a communicates with the through-hole 2a of the base plate 2; and a second slide means 6 that slides the sliding nozzle 4 to a position where the nozzle hole 4a communicates with the through-hole 2a of the base plate 2.
