PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make varnish fully permeate into coils in a slot in performing varnish applying treatment to the protruding portions of an insulator and the coils wound on teeth.SOLUTION: A stator includes a core 35, which has a plurality of teeth 59 arranged annularly; an insulator 36, which has a plurality of protruding portions 40 arranged at the end of the core 35 and on which an electric wire 86 is wound with the teeth 59; and an annular wall 47 extending in the direction of separating from the core 35, at radially outer portions of a plurality of the protruding portions 40. A gap 102 is formed between the wires 86 wound on the teeth 59 and the protruding portions 40, and the wall 47. Such a gap 102 is formed, by arranging and inclining the inner surface 47a of the wall 47 to radially outward, as it separates from the protruding portions 40. |
