<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which is implemented in a wireless communication system including WTRU, node B, and RNC, and quantizes multiplexed data allowed by permission precisely to a selected E-TFC transport block size. <P>SOLUTION: The amount of schedule type and non-schedule type data permitted to be transmitted is quantized so that the amount of data multiplexed in MAC-e PDU precisely matches the selected E-TFC transport block size. In an embodiment, the amount of buffered data permitted to be multiplexed by at least one permission (serving permission and/or non-serving permission) is quantized so that the total of the schedule type and non-schedule type data including a MAC header and control information multiplexed in the MAC-e PDU precisely matches the selected E-TFC transport block size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
