<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance heat dissipation performance of a stator of a rotating electrical machine. <P>SOLUTION: A stator 50 of a first rotating electrical machine 20 includes a stator core 58 and an outer peripheral ring 62 disposed on an outer periphery of the stator core 58. An outer peripheral surface of the outer peripheral ring 62 is a substantially cylindrical surface and is provided with a ridge 76 extending in a circumferential direction. On the other hand, a case 70 includes a stator housing part 74 for housing the stator 50. When the stator 50 is housed in the stator housing part 74, the ridge 76 is brought into contact with a flat inner peripheral surface 72 of the stator housing part 74. Accordingly, a tip of the ridge 76 and the case 70 are brought into close contact with each other, whereby heat generated from the stator 50 is transmitted directly to the case 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
