<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a traditional procedure for straightening of a narrow width steel bar in which a metal strip slitted by a slitter is subjected to widthwise reduction on both side edges along the whole lengthwise direction of the metal strip through pairs of rollers aligned straightly in three rows, while distortion in the reduction direction generated during slitting and widthwise reduction is decreased and also straightening of angle and removal of burr formed at slitting are aimed. <P>SOLUTION: The straitening device for a narrow width steel bar includes: a pay-off unit holding the narrow width steel bar; a press plastic/dimensional precision/curling removal processing machine composed of a first straightening roller group having a plurality of rollers facing each other, a second straightening roller group containing first top and bottom rollers and a plurality of rollers individually and facing each other, and second top and bottom rollers; and an extractor to draw out the straightened narrow width steel bar; and a cutting device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
