FLAT PANEL DISPLAY APPARATUS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A flat panel display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve aperture ratio without reducing the size of a capacitor and to reduce production costs according to mask process reduction. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor layer(21) of a thin film transistor is formed on a substrate(10). Ionic impurity is doped in source and drain regions(21a,21c) of the semiconductor layer. A capacitor(30) is formed by patterning a first conductive layer, a first insulation layer, and a second conductive layer. A contact hole which exposes the source and drain regions and the second conductive layer is formed. Source and drain electrodes(28a,28c) which connect to the source and drain regions and the second conductive layer through the contact hole are formed. A via hole which exposes one of the source and drain electrodes by passing through an organic layer is formed.
