<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable gate device which enables a gate to be surely raised by a flow of water at a time of a high tide or a flood, and can be stored in a compact storage space when the gate is not used. <P>SOLUTION: A movable gate device installed in a channel 2 comprises: a float 4 which is guided so as to vertically move by following a water level; a link type vertical girder member 8 which is upwardly raised in accordance with an upward movement of the float and is folded down in a direction toward a bottom section 2a in accordance with a downward movement of the float; and a flexible end rail 15 which is arranged along an upstream side surface of the link type vertical girder member 8. A lower edge 15a of the flexible end rail 15 is fixed to a bottom section 2a in a watertight state, an upper edge 15b thereof is fixed to the float 4 in the watertight state and both side ends 15c thereof are contacted with respective side sections 2b of the channel 2 in the watertight state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
