<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire still image signals for constructing a still image with the highest possible definition depending on imaging conditions, while acquiring both moving image signals and still image signals. <P>SOLUTION: A readout control device according to one embodiment of the present invention sets either of a first readout mode in which a first output system for outputting still image signals read out from first pixels outputs still image signals based on charges accumulated in the first pixels in a first exposure period and a second output system for outputting still image signals and moving image signals read out from second pixels outputs moving image signals based on charges accumulated in the second pixels in a second exposure period, and a second readout mode in which the first output system outputs still image signals based on charges accumulated in the first pixels in a third exposure period and the second output system outputs still image signals and moving image signals based on charges accumulated in the second pixels in the third exposure period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
