<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus with a built-in GPS device capable of securing GPS sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with a GPS reception part, an image display part, and a part for detecting the state change of the imaging apparatus. In a GPS-positioning state, a warning is displayed on the image display part to avoid covering a GPS reception range, and different warnings are displayed and a reception range is shown clearly in accordance with a received GPS positioning sensitivity level and the receiving state discriminated from the detection result of the detection part, thereby helping a photographer to facilitate GPS positioning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
