The main objective of the present invention is to provide a taggant particle group which has a plurality of verification steps, has a superior anti-counterfeiting effect, and can be applied to various anti-counterfeit media. The present invention solves problems by providing a taggant particle group which is a collective body of taggant particles, each particle comprising a plurality of pieces of identification information, wherein the taggant particle group is characterized in that: one piece of identification information among the plurality of pieces of identification information that each particle has, is common identification information that the taggant particles constituting the taggant particle group commonly share; and other pieces of identification information among the plurality of pieces of identification information that each particle has, is non-common identification information capable of determining authenticity in combination with identification information of the other taggant particles constituting the taggant particle group.
