PURPOSE: A mortiser for boring a dovetail-shaped mortise, a mortise joint method using the same, and a mortise joint assembly are provided to improve a strong binding state by transforming a leading end of a tenon by simply connecting using a mortiser for boring a dovetail-shaped mortise and wedge. CONSTITUTION: A mortiser for boring a dovetail-shaped mortise comprises a drill(45), a pair of fixed hollow chisels(51,52), and a pair of movable hollow chisels(53,54). The pair of movable hollow chisels is arranged around the drill to be faced each other. Square hollow chisels bore both side walls facing each other through blade portions(520,530,540). The dovetail-shaped mortise is bored by the part of movable hollow chisels. A reverse movement of the tenon is completely prevented at the same time with a completion of butt-jointing the tenton to the mortise and the tenton and mortise are never separated unless a reinforcement member is damaged because the wedge is disposed before the tenon is butt-jointed to the mortise. |
