The device has a handle constituted by a strap (4) in the form of closed loop integrated to a panel i.e. boot cover (1). The strap is integrated to the panel by a retaining unit (5) integrated to an orifice (6) of the panel and arranged in a manner to position the strap relative to the panel for permitting gripping of one of faces of the panel. The strap is maintained slidingly relative to the retaining unit. The retaining unit comprises a bar (7) integrated to the orifice of the panel and passing through the strap.
