PURPOSE: A water treating apparatus is provided to oxidize and decompose non-degradable organic contaminants by annihilating harmful bacteria in water based on photo catalyst and ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION: A water treating apparatus includes a water supplying part, a filtering part, and a sterilization decomposing part. A pre-treating part is further prepared in order to eliminate sludge and impurities from feed water. The pre-treating part is composed of a separating bath(101), a settling bath(105), a perforated bath(110), a discharging pipe(103), a baffle plate(115), and a floatation preventive plate(120). An inlet(102) for the feed water is arranged at the upper side of the separating bath. The settling bath is downwardly protruded from the bottom of the separating bath. The perforated bath is installed in the separating bath and is spaced apart from the setting bath. The discharging pipe is expanded to the inner part of the perforated bath. Water introduced into the perforated bath and is discharged to the outside of the separating bath through the discharging pipe. The baffle plate is installed between the separating bath and the perforate bath to delay the flow of water. The floatation preventive plate is installed at the upper part of the setting bath. |
