ALUMINIUM PLATED FERRITIC STAINLESS STEEL WELDING METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for welding Al plated ferritic stainless steel is provided to prevent the degradation of machineability of a welding part by preventing Al plating components from flowing into the welding part because the Al plating components are interposed as suspended solid. CONSTITUTION: A method for welding Al plated ferritic stainless steel is as follows. Arc is formed on Al plated ferritic stainless steel. When forming the arc, protective gas is supplied to protect electrodes for forming the arc in a welding part of the Al plated ferritic stainless steel. The protective gas is composed of 0.1-0.4wt% of active gas and the rest of inert gas and inevitably contained gas. The active gas comprises at least one of O2 and N2 gas. The inert gas comprises at least one of Ar and He gas.
