<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-blade fixed sliding plane, which eliminates the need for skill in technique for a process required to enable general shaving operation with a plane and has minimized labor hours. <P>SOLUTION: As a fixing means of a surface blade 12 and a back blade 16 each composed of a general-purpose cutting blade, a fixing plate 1 including a surface blade fixing groove 14 and a reverse blade fixing groove 13 provided at optimum positions is used, whereby the adjustment of cutting edges by visual registering is dispensed with. A plane stock 9 includes a plane stock groove front portion 11 and a plane stock groove rear portion 18 provided at optimum positions thereof. The fixing plate 1 installed with the two blades is attached to the plane stock 9 and assembled into a plane original form. At that point, the general shaving operation can be performed without mature technique while solving the labor hour for replacement, attachment/detachment and adjustment of the plane blades.
