By arranging, in Raschel machines for knitting elastic or non-elastic webs (nets), flexible elastic strips (figure 2), between the needles (Blecher) and under the heddles (figure 3), and as a resultof the proposed form, the dimensions (depending on the desired product) thereof and their reciprocating curved motion, they produce a weft much larger, up to 70 percent, than the calculated weft obtained bythe unmodified machine. The proposed method provides elastic nets which during application may be stretched up to 150 percent (1:2.5) without significant narrowing (figure 4.3), as well as nets, e.g. for baling straw, which during application may widen up to 40 percent of their initial width (figure 5.3). |
