The spray device (3) comprises: means (4) for producing a hot gaseous stream (5) designed to produce a stream of hot air at a temperature comprised at least between first and second temperature thresholds; means (6) for storing said powdered paint (32); means (7) for introducing powdered paint (32) into said gaseous stream (5), these introducing means (7) being connected firstly to said storage means (6) from where they can withdraw powdered paint (32) and secondly opening onto a powdered paint (32) introduction zone (8) situated so as to face said hot gaseous stream (5) produced by said means (4) for producing a hot gaseous stream (5).
