<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device that detects level of vibration generated from a blade member that is a vibration source, and automatically suppresses the noise based on the detection result, without changing at all the slide-contact state of the blade member and an image carrier. <P>SOLUTION: A cleaning device includes: a vibration detection part 55 that is disposed on a blade holder 53 and detects level of vibration generated from a blade member 50 that is a vibration source; a rigidity changing means 57 that operates based on the detection result of the vibration detection part 55; and a drive control part 56c of a control means 56 that controls increase and decrease of the rigidity of the blade holder 53 so that the level of the vibration of the blade holder 53 decreases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
