<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-assisted bicycle that can sufficiently reduce fatigue of a cyclist. <P>SOLUTION: An auxiliary driving unit AD includes a controller 30, a torque sensor 31, a crank angle sensor 32, an inverter 33 and a motor 34. A battery 50 is connected to the motor 34 via the inverter 33. The motor 34 generates auxiliary power by imparting a driving current to the motor 34 from the battery 50. The controller 30 obtains a crank rotating speed based on an output signal from the crank angle sensor 32, and controls the motor 34 so that a peak appearing crank angle of the auxiliary power changes in response to the obtained crank rotating speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
