<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glow plug mounting structure and a connector for the glow plug capable of preventing a liquid or solid from entering the inside of an annular groove and between a female screw and a male screw. <P>SOLUTION: A wall where a glow plug mounting hole 81 is formed has an annular tapered surface which enlarges the diameter thereof as going toward the rear end side in the axial line direction and forms an annular groove between the outer circumferential surface of a glow plug 20 and the annular tapered surface adjacently to the rear end side of the female screw 83.
