<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin type zoom lens with various aberrations corrected well while having high variable power ratio at a wide angle and an imaging apparatus using the zoom lens. <P>SOLUTION: The zoom lens having a first lens group with negative refractive power and a second lens group having positive refractive power in this order from an object side has: a field lens arranged closest to an image side; and a first lens with negative refractive power and a second lens with positive refractive power in the first lens group, and following conditional expressions (1), (2) and (3) are satisfied. n<SB POS="POST">1n</SB>≤1.70...(1), n<SB POS="POST">1p</SB>≤1.70...(2), and ¾ν<SB POS="POST">1n</SB>-ν<SB POS="POST">1p</SB>¾≥31...(3), where n<SB POS="POST">1n</SB>and ν<SB POS="POST">1n</SB>are an index of refraction and Abbe number for line d of the first lens within the first lens group and n<SB POS="POST">1p</SB>and ν<SB POS="POST">1p</SB>, are an index of refraction and Abbe number for line d of the second lens within the first lens group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
