<p>The invention relates to a method for drop manipulation, comprising the steps: preparation of at least one drop (1, 2, 3,...) in contact with a rigid retainer surface (21) of a drop holder (20), generation of an electrical field at the retainer surface (21), wherein a force is exerted on the at least one drop (1, 2, 3,...) and displacement of the at least one drop (1, 2, 3,...) by means of the action of the force, wherein the retainer surface (21) is arranged such that a surface normal to the retainer surface (21) forms an angle a to the vertical direction of gravity of less than or equal to 90° and the drop hangs from the retainer surface (21). A drop manipulation device for the manipulation of hanging drops is also disclosed.</p> |
