<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural or horticultural disease controlling agent having excellent safety, a controlling effect on various plant diseases, and an excellent plant growth effect and to provide an industrial material protectant having an effect of protecting materials from various harmful microorganisms. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an azole derivative of formula (I). This derivative has an excellent bactericidal action on many types of bacteria which cause plant diseases. In formula (1), R<SP POS="POST">a</SP>is a 1C-3C alkylene group; R<SP POS="POST">b</SP>is a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted 1C-6C alkyl, 2C-6C alkenyl, or 2C-6C alkinyl group; R<SP POS="POST">c</SP>is a 5-6-membered heterocyclic or 8-10-membered fused heterocyclic group having at east one sulfur, nitrogen, or oxygen atom; the heterocyclic group and the fused heterocyclic group may be substituted with a halogen atom; X is a halogen atom; and A is a nitrogen atom or a methine group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
