<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of casting defects caused by cavities in cast parts regarding a casting apparatus in which molten metal is made to flow between cores formed by nonmetal material. <P>SOLUTION: In the casting apparatus 1 in which a first core 7 and a second core 8 formed by nonmetallic material are arranged at the inside of the main mold 3 formed by metallic material, a first space part 17 surrounded by the bottom wall 9, ceiling wall 10 and sidewalls 11 is formed at the inside of cast parts 2 by the first core 7; meanwhile, a bag-shaped second space part 18 whose bottom face 27 is in contact with the outer side face of the ceiling wall, and further provided with an opening part whose opening is narrower than that of the bottom face at the side opposite to the bottom face is formed at the inside of the cast parts by the second core 8, in the second core 8, the face on the side opposite to the bottom face 29 is in contact with the main mold 3, the inside thereof is provided with a through hole 30 in which one edge opens to the face in contact with the main mold and the other edge opens to the bottom face 27, and a heat transfer member 31 of transferring the heat of the molten metal is arranged at the inside of the through hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
