Disclosed is a method and apparatus for storing and displaying medical image information. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for storing the medical image information comprises the steps of: obtaining a medical image of a patient for confirming a lesion; determining whether history information of a previous medical image related to the obtained medical image of the patient is stored; adding the information regarding the obtained medical image of the patient to the history information of the previous medical image to generate updated history information when the history information is stored; and storing the updated history information. Therefore, the time taken to search for information regarding conventional and previous medical images one by one can be decreased, and thereby convenience is provided to a client terminal user that requests and receives information regarding a previous medical image. |
