The mirror comprises a sheet-like substrate (3) having a surface (4), a multilayer stack (5) applied on the surface of the substrate, and first and second layers (7, 9) that are alternately arranged one above the other and are made of different materials. A reflective cover layer (11) is applied on a surface remote from the substrate of the multilayer stack. A total thickness of the multilayer stack is greater than 500 nm. Thicknesses of the reflecting layer, the first layer and the second layer are less than 12 nm, less than 1.10 nm and smaller than 0.5 nm respectively.
