<p>Provided in the present invention is a business card recognition method combining character recognition and image matching, applicable in a network system composed of a website server and a client, comprising at least the following steps: the client acquiring a business card image of a request business card and uploading to the website server to request for recognition; the website server extracting character information and an image characteristic of the business card image then retrieving prestored business cards matching the character information, performing an image characteristic matching to select candidate business cards, and generating a measurement value for each candidate business card; the website server determining if the matching result is affirmed on the basis of the measurement values, if yes, then feeding back the matching result to the client; if not, transmitting the business card image of the candidate business card via a network to a client service side authorized by the website server, and the client service side determining the matching result then feeding back information to the client. This implements the business card recognition technique combining the character recognition and the image matching, thus improving the accuracy and recognition speed of the business card recognition.</p> |
