SYSTEM AND EQUIPMENT FOR ALIGNING AND PLACING SYRINGES IN PRE-FORMED POCKETS

A pick and place system (100) for controlled picking a pre-determined count of syringes from a loaded pallet (06) and placing the picked syringes in pockets of an intermittently moving web (40) includes a pallet positioning means, a picking means and a placing means. The pallet positioning means includes a guide (02), a feeding conveyor (04), a pick-up conveyor (10), a swivable flap guide (14) and a first stopper (16). The picking means includes a gripping mechanism (20). The gripping mechanism (20) includes a plurality of gripping means for gripping the pre-determined count of syringes in vertical configuration before being released by the swivable flap guide (14) and the pallet (06) stopped at the pick-up position. The placing means includes a swiveling arm assembly (18) and a follower means (22). The swiveling arm assembly (18) angularly displaces the set of gripped syringes to be aligned over the pockets of the intermittently moving web (40).
