PHOTON COUNT TYPE IMAGE DETECTOR, X-RAY DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE, AND X-RAY COMPUTER TOMOGRAPHIC DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image of high resolution by reducing a spread of a signal in a photon count type image detector.

SOLUTION: A photon count type image detector 26 includes a semiconductor cell S which detects an X-ray photon; a charge amplifier 51 which generates electric pulses on the basis of electric charges collected in response to the detected X-ray photons; comparators 531-53nwhich discriminate electric pulses on the basis of crest values of the electric pulses; a threshold logic circuit 55 which performs control not to count electric pulses corresponding to energy of characteristic X rays generated by the semiconductor cell S among the discriminated electric pulses; and counters 561-56mwhich count the discriminated electric pulses under the control of the threshold logic circuit 55.
