<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording apparatus and a video recording system which enable a user to perform a channel selection operation without being aware of switch between devices to be operated and without discomfort. <P>SOLUTION: The video recording apparatus comprises a receiving part for receiving television broadcast; and a content switch determination part for determining whether a content relating to a video displayed by an external display device switches to another content. The external display device internally or externally comprises receiving means for receiving television broadcast. If determining a channel different from the television broadcast channel received by the receiving part to record a video to be selectable and the result of the determination by the content switch determination part is an affirmative, the video recording apparatus switches the input source of the video to be displayed by the external display device from the receiving means to the receiving part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
