摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal continuously variable transmission capable of achieving the accurate speed ratio control by compensating a difference between a value of the axial displacement of a power roller and a value of the axial displacement of a trunnion accompanying a gap between an outer peripheral part of a power roller bearing and an inner end surface of the trunnion. <P>SOLUTION: The toroidal continuously variable transmission includes: a feedback mechanism to a speed ratio control valve 120 through a cam link mechanism; a sensor 100 which monitors a gap dimension between the outer peripheral part of a bearing 24 capable of supporting a load to be applied to the power roller 11 in a thrust direction and allowing the rotation of the power roller 11, and the inner end surface of the trunnion 15; and a computing section 140 which corrects the difference between the value of the axial displacement of the power roller 11 and the value of the axial displacement of the trunnion 15 based on a measurement value of the sensor 100 and which supplies a control signal corresponding to a predetermined speed ratio to a stepping motor 130 which drives the speed ratio control valve 120. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
