PURPOSE: Gaiters for preventing foreign substance inflow are provided to be suitably worn for footwear such as sports footwear or mountain-climbing boots or be smoothly ventilated in a state of wearing gaiters. CONSTITUTION: Gaiters for preventing foreign substance inflow comprise a neck part(30) and a cover part(20) which knit the gaiters(10). Cover part positioned on the downside of the neck part becomes wider toward the bottom. Footwear comprises wrapped up heel, backstitched bias tape(40) in the low end, where a knitted structure prevents collapse of cover part for the weight given.
