<p>The system has a printing station (1) for ink-jet printing of an image on a surface of a substrate by jet nozzles using printing ink. A depositing station (3a) deposits solidifiable translucent fluid i.e. varnish, on the surface of the substrate to obtain a finished product. The depositing station is placed in an upstream of a printed image drying station (2) with respect to direction of displacement of the substrate. Controlling units control deposition of the solidifiable translucent fluid, and include a negative calculation element of a converted image. An independent claim is also included for an ink-jet printing method for obtaining a finished product.</p> |
