<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film capacitor having a plurality of protruded parts disposed in a gap between an overhang part and a capacitor element on a side surface of the overhang part. <P>SOLUTION: A film capacitor includes: a capacitor element in which a film is used for a dielectric body; a bottomed cylindrical metal case that stores the capacitor element therein and has an opening on an upper end surface thereof; and a resin cap for closing the opening of the metal case. The film capacitor is configured to load filling resin into the metal case from a hole formed in the resin cap. A cylindrical overhang part integrally overhung from a peripheral part of the resin cap is disposed along a side surface direction of the metal case. When a snap-in part snapped in the opening of the metal case is disposed in the overhang part, a peripheral unevenness of a gap between the snap-in part of the resin cap and the capacitor element is eliminated, and the filling resin is loaded uniformly into the metal case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
